STANDISH — Saint Joseph’s College rolled to an 84-57 women’s basketball victory over UMaine-Farmington on Tuesday.
Senior forward Regan McFerran notched the third double-double of her career with 20 points and 10 rebounds, and the Monks out-rebounded the Beavers by a 51-25 margin in a one-sided victory.
Saint Joseph’s pulled down 22 offensive boards and held a 40-20 lead in points in the paint on the evening.
The Monks received 30 points from Vanese Barnes, while former Brunswick High School standout Julia Champagne popped for 13 points and seven rebounds.
Saint Joseph’s hosts the University of Southern Maine in the annual Costello Cup on Sunday at 5:30 p.m.
