Christopher D. Jones

LYMAN – Christopher D. Jones, 56, of Lyman died unexpectedly on Feb. 9, 2021 at the Southern Maine Medical Center in Biddeford. Born in Rochester, N.H., he was the son of Melvin Jones and A. Jane (Dow) Gilks. Raised in Maine, Christopher was educated by the Massabesic High School. Christopher had a wonderful personality and a great sense of humor. He was a dedicated employee for the Identity Group, he held a Truck Driver’s position for over ten years. His coworkers were considered his friends and his family. In 1998, he met his future wife at a friend’s party and married Ann (Luneau) Jones on April 1, 2006. Christopher was a devoted entrepreneur with a small business in agriculture. When Christopher wasn’t at work, he was spending time with his grandson, Blake. Together they rode dirt-bikes at Track 207, detailed cars and spent plenty of time teaching his grandson the importance of being outside. When they weren’t, they would spend time playing video games or watching the Monster-Jam Trucks on YouTube. Before COVID-19, Christopher was an avid concert goer and music enthusiast. Christopher’s family was the most important part of his life. He is survived by his incredible wife, Ann Jones; his children and their partners, Amanda Jones, April Perkins and Wayne LaBlond, Brittany and Brett Burroughs; his siblings and their spouses, Michael Jones, Lisa and Donald Buhan, Mark and Georgette Jones, Bill and Ann Jones; his step-father, George Gilks. His grandchildren, Blake, Bryson, Brayden, Nick, Karma, Wayne Jr, Alaynah, Landon and Xavier and Lilly; his nieces and nephews, Amber, Evan, Katie, Melanie, Emilie, Jared and Nate. He is also survived by a host of step-siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins and an incredible group of friends. Christopher was predeceased by his parents; as well as his daughters, Tara Huff and Jennifer Luneau. Services for Christopher will be held on 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 20, 2021 at the Hope Memorial Chapel.Please consider makinga donation to:St. Jude’s Children’s Hospitalin Mr. Jones’ name
