Shawn D. Carr, 50, died Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2022 in Millinocket. He was born March 2, 1971 in Westbrook, the son of Andrew and Karen (Neilsen) Carr.
Shawn worked at Captain Newick’s Restaurant for several years until they closed. He enjoyed playing football and baseball computer games, as well as fantasy football. Shawn especially loved spending time with his niece, Lillee, with whom he shared a special bond.
In addition to his mother and niece, Shawn is survived by his sister, April Staples and her significant other Kurt Thompson; an uncle, Peter Neilsen. Shawn was predeceased by his father and grandparents.
