Kathy Meserve Solis
WESTBROOK – Kathy Meserve Solis, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt, passed away in her sleep after a long battle with cancer on Saturday. March 5, 2022.
Kathy was born to David Meserve and Muriel Benner on Feb. 26, 1963 in Portland. She graduated from Portland High School and was trained as a CNA which was her career choice in life, as she loved caring for others.
Kathy was preceded in death by her father David Meserve, mother Muriel Benner; and two brothers Ricky Waterman and Dale Meserve.
Kathy is survived by her husband Alejandro R. Solis Jr.; her son Aaron Jacques, daughter Damaris Waits; precious grandsons Austin, Brayden, and Mason Jacques; as well as daughter-in-law Paula Day and son-in-law Clay Waits.
Visiting hours will be held Friday March 11, 2022 at Jones, Rich & Barnes Funeral Home at 199 Woodford St., Portland, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. A Celebration of Life service will be held from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m.
