Police patrolling Pleasant Point Park

Police officers are patrolling Pleasant Point Park on Simpson Road on foot in addition to vehicle patrols to enforce traffic and parking violations, Buxton Police Chief Troy Cline said.

“We will also be working closely with the Maine Warden Service and Maine State Police to deter disorderly conduct and underage drinking in and around the area of Pleasant Point Park,” Cline said.

Rowdy conduct by out-of-towners led the Select Board to shut the park down during summer 2020.
