Kilson Joao scored to break a scoreless tie in the first half as Scarborough pulled away for a 3-0 boys’ soccer win Tuesday night against Westbrook at Scarborough.

Kevine Paulino scored in the second half for Scarborough (8-3-1), along with Matthew Fallona on a feed from Dillon Grant.

Jason McCarthy stopped eight shots for Westbrook (6-6-1), and Seamus Corry had four saves.

LINCOLN ACADEMY 1, ERSKINE ACADEMY 0: EJ Hunt put home a rebound of a shot by Peter Thelander with 17:00 to play in regulation to break a scoreless tie as Lincoln Academy (9-1-1) outlasted Erskine Academy at China.

Caleb Gay stopped four shots for Erskine, and Marcelo Endrizzi turned aside five shots for the shutout.

FALMOUTH 4, NOBLE 0: Michael Christman had two goals and an assist, leading the Navigators (6-4-2) over the Knights (0-11-1) in Falmouth.

Evan Mayo and Sam Yoon each had a goal and an assist for Falmouth. Ian Christie had one assist.

Hunter Michaud turned away 19 shots in goal for Noble.

YARMOUTH 3, FREEPORT 1: Matt Gautreau and Luis Cardoso scored first-half goals and Zach Kelly added one in the second half as Yarmouth (11-1) won at Freeport for its 11th consecutive victory.

Gautreau scored on a rebound and Cardoso made it 2-0 by finishing a header from Jonny Fulton, but the Falcons (6-4-3) answered on a goal late in the first half from Emmanuel Ekogha.

Kelly provided an insurance goal in the second half, heading home Adam McLaughlin’s corner kick.

Mason Vintinner stopped seven shots for Freeport.

Ian O’Connor made three saves for the Clippers.

GORHAM 4, DEERING 1: Owen Spera had a pair of goals and an assist as Gorham (10-1-1) beat Deering at Memorial Field in Portland.

Jackson Landry and Jack Luciano added goals for Gorham.

Deering was credited with an own goal.

LAKE REGION 2, SACOPEE VALLEY 1: Jacoby Bardsley scored for the Lakers (1-11) midway through the first half, and Nico Russo had the go-ahead later in the half as Lake Region defeated the Hawks (0-12) in Naples.

Justen McCubrey racked up 15 saves for Lake Region.

ERSKINE ACADEMY 7, MORSE 1: Lilly Clark scored two goals and had three assists as the Eagles (3-8) beat the Shipbuilders (3-10) in Bath.

Evelyn Rousseau scored two goals, and Reese Sullivan had a goal and two assists for Erskine.

Willow Halpin scored for Morse.

GREELY 3, POLAND 2: Lauren Hazard scored two goals and Maya Tracey scored once as the Rangers (6-6) topped the Knights (3-9) in Poland.

Grace Belanger, Anna Hendry and Leyla Rabbat each had one assist for Greely.

YARMOUTH 4, FRYEBURG ACADEMY 0: Sophia Smith had a hat trick and Colleen Lynch chipped in with a goal, powering the Clippers (10-1-1) to a shutout of the Raiders (2-9-1) in Fryeburg.

Emma Shannon made two saves for Yarmouth.

Rayna Wales made seven saves for Fryeburg.

CAPE ELIZABETH 1, LAKE REGION 1: Sophia Chung scored in the third quarter and Kasey Johnson scored off an assist from Emma Nadeau in the fourth as the Capers (7-4-1) and Lakers (7-3-2) played to a draw in Naples.

Zoe Burgard made five saves for Cape and Reiyn Hart had five saves for Lake Region.

OLD ORCHARD BEACH 5, BUCKFIELD 2: Tessa Ferguson powered the offense with three goals as the Seagulls (5-8) topped the Bucks (7-5) at Old Orchard Beach.

Olivia McInnis and Kailee Morin chipped in with goals for Old Orchard Beach, and Cate Clark doled out a pair of assists and Alaynah LeBlond added one.

Brittany Carrier had both goals for Buckfield.

GREELY 4, GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 3: CC Berthiaume, Lili Pierce, Sami Santerre and Shaylee O’Grady scored to lift the Rangers (5-5-2) over the Patriots (5-8) in Cumberland.

WAYNFLETE 5, TRAIP ACADEMY 0: Morgan Earls, Izzy Gleason, Paige Alexander, Alexis Turner and Audrey Winch scored as the Flyers (8-4) shutout the Rangers (3-7-2) in Kittery.

Lily Stuart and Rose Dembele combined for eight saves for Traip.

PORTLAND 5, WESTBROOK 1: Annaliese Collin scored twice as the Bulldogs (4-7-1) beat the Blue Blazes (0-9-2) at Fitzpatrick Stadium.

Joz Fitzjurls, Evvy McGirr and Baleria Yugu all chipped in with goals, and Phoebe Knoll had three assists.

Ava Bolden scored for Westbrook.

YARMOUTH 2, FREEPORT 0: Aine Powers scored twice and Regan Sullivan saved a penalty kick as host Yarmouth blanked Freeport.

Powers scored in the sixth minute, from Brooke Boone, to put the Clippers (9-1-1) up 1-0.

The Falcons (7-3-3) had a chance to answer early in the second half, but Sullivan (five saves) denied Silvi Strong’s penalty kick.

Powers then doubled the lead with a goal, from Taylor Oranellas.

Amanda Panciocco stopped four shots for Freeport.

CAPE ELIZABETH 8, POLAND 0: Noelle Mallory scored two goals in the first half and Luci Boudreau, Mimi McEvoy, CC Duryee, Evelyn Agrodnia, GG Sprague and Addie Miller all had one goal as the Capers (11-1) handled the Lakers (2-9-1) in Cape Elizabeth.

Boudreau, Heather Campbell and Matilda Reck had two assists.

VOLLEYBALL

GREELY 3, LAKE REGION 0: Molly Mulligan had 11 kills and added three aces to lead the Rams (8-3) past the Lakers (6-6) at Gorham.

Anabelle Talley had six kills and had a pair of aces for Gorham, and Addison Hilbers added three aces as Gorham won, 29-27, 25-16, 25-16.
