Abbiocco, an Italian restaurant specializing in fresh pasta, is closing after six months in business.
Chef-owner Cole Curcio announced the closure on Instagram Wednesday, and thanked his customers. “Over the past six months, you filled my dining room with laughter, celebration, and support in ways I’ll never forget,” he wrote. “What started as a vision became something real because of all of you, my guests, my community, and everyone who walked through the doors.”
Prior to Abbiocco, the venue at 634 Forest Ave. briefly hosted Sissle & Daughters all-day cafe, wine bar and market, which shuttered after just three months.
Curcio suggested in his Instagram post that he planned to open another restaurant concept in the future. “This isn’t goodbye, it’s just the end of this iteration. I’ll be back, and I can’t wait to welcome you again.”
