Southern Maine Community College will host the New England College Basketball Showcase Camp June 11-13. The camp offers a chance for high school players who hope to play in college to work directly with college coaches while facing other top players. The Freeport Rotary Club is hosting the Close to the Coast 5K and 10K Road Race on Saturday, June 12, at Winslow Park. The race starts at 9 a.m., registration 7:15-8:45 a.m. Fee is $15. Contact Jim Hendricks at 865-1183 or drjah@suscom-maine.net.
