UNION — Searchers have found an elderly Maine man with Alzheimer’s disease who went missing for overnight in the Union area.
Wardens say 75-year-old Gerald “Pete” Brooks of Union left home to go for a walk at about 11 a.m. Tuesday. He was found this morning. His condition is still being evaluated.
The Maine Warden Service led the search near the Union-Hope town line.
Wardens used an infrared camera system, dogs, professional search teams and volunteers to search for Brooks.

UNION — The Maine Warden Service is leading the search for an elderly man with Alzheimer’s disease who has been missing almost a day.
Seventy-five-year-old Gerald “Pete” Brooks of Union left home to go for a walk at about 11 a.m. Tuesday. He has not been seen since.
The search is under way near the Union-Hope town line.
Wardens are using an infrared camera system, dogs, professional search teams and volunteers to search for Brooks.
