Omar Abdille, Waynflete, senior midfielder: The Flyers’ second captain, Abdille is one of Waynflete’s top returning scorers.

 

Blake Barritt, Cape Elizabeth, junior midfielder: Barritt opened the season by scoring two goals and an assist and will help pace Cape Elizabeth’s offense.

 

Michael Bloom, Falmouth, senior forward: A four-year varsity player, Bloom will be the focal point of the Yachtsmen’s scheme this season and will be considered one of the team leaders.

 

Garrett Brann, Brunswick, senior defenseman: A captain who helped Brunswick to last year’s Eastern Class A title, Brann will help the Dragons fill holes on defense that were lost to graduation.

 

Jonathan Coyne, Greely, senior striker: Coyne is one of a handful of seniors on the roster and returns as the Rangers’ leading scorer last season with 13 goals.

 

Akiba Davis, South Portland, junior midfielder: Davis has a strong shot and is considered an offensive and defensive contributor.

 

Charlie Dupee, Deering, senior midfielder: Dupee is a four-year player and will be the center of the Rams’ offense.

 

Ryan Farley, Freeport, senior forward/center midfielder: One of the Falcons’ captains, Farley is a year-round soccer player with strong technical abilities and athleticism.

 

Tucker Geoffroy, Waynflete, senior striker: A captain for the Flyers, Geoffroy will be counted on to generate offense on a young team.

 

Jesse Holland, NYA, senior goalie: A transfer from Brunswick, Holland brings height and athleticism to the goal.

 

Andrew Jones, Scarborough, junior striker: One of the Red Storm’s speediest players, he will be relied upon to provide goal scoring.

 

Nem Kaurin, South Portland, junior midfielder: Kaurin returns after leading the Red Riots in scoring last season with six goals and six assists.

 

Kevin Lubelczyk, Gorham, junior midfielder: The second of three brothers to go through Gorham’s soccer program, he’ll be counted on for goals as well as two-way play.

 

Elliot Maker: Cheverus, junior forward: Last year’s leading scorer at Lake Region, Maker transferred to Cheverus and is expected to be among the SMAA’s top scorers.

 

Jack Martell, Gray-New Gloucester, sophomore midfielder: Martell was the second-leading scorer for the Patriots last season with six goals and four assists.

 

Nick Melville, Cheverus, junior midfielder: Melville is not only a strong athlete, but also a dynamic offensive player.

 

Fazal Nabi, Portland, senior midfielder: Nabi returns as Portland’s leading scorer with 12 goals and 18 assists and is a four-year varsity player.

 

Kevin Philbrick, Scarborough, senior midfielder: Philbrick is an athletic two-way player who will help carry Scarborough’s offense.

 

Luke Pierce, Yarmouth, senior striker: A three-sport athlete, Pierce is a four-year varsity player who led the Clippers with 17 goals last season.

 

Peter Rizzi, Scarborough, senior defenseman: Rizzi is one of three returning starters on the Red Storm’s defense, which allowed five goals last season.

 

Sean Ross, Greely, senior midfielder: Ross moves from forward to midfielder and scored six goals last season.

 

Ryan Rousseau, NYA, senior midfielder: Rousseau, the team captain, will be relied on for his leadership qualities, his work ethic and his foot skills.

 

Andrew Souza, Westbrook, senior striker: The only four-year starter on varsity, Souza is a speedy player who can score goals.

 

Sam White, Falmouth, senior forward: A four-year varsity player, White is considered one of the state’s top players.

 

Seth Wing, Gorham, senior defense: Wing provides strength in the backfield for the Rams and also will provide leadership.
