Rosemary Herbert, a former book review editor at the Boston Herald, will be talking about and signing her new mystery novel, “Front Page Teaser: A Liz Higgins Mystery” ($14.95, Down East Books).
The book introduces Liz Higgins, a Boston reporter trying to move from light news to front-page stories.

Herbert was editor-in-chief of “The Oxford Companion to Crime and Mystery” and several other mystery anthologies. She splits her time between Rockland and Boston’s North Shore.
