Pig scramble and other pursuits

THE CUMBERLAND COUNTY FAIR offers excitement, exhibits and entertainment all week long. Don’t miss the apple pie contest next Thursday, or the Pig Scramble on Oct. 2. Seniors get in for $2 on Tuesday and Thursday.

WHEN: Sunday to Oct. 2. Opens at 7 a.m. every day except Monday (6 a.m.) and Oct. 2 (8 a.m.).

WHERE: 197 Blanchard Road, Cumberland

HOW MUCH: $9 weekends; $7 weekdays; $35 weekly pass. Free for ages 12 and under. Parking costs $3.
