DEXTER — The 1999 execution-style murders of a 20-year-old woman and the toddler she was baby-sitting will be featured in a new TV episode to air on a national network.

The murders of Mindy Gould and 21-month-old Treven Cunningham will be included in an episode of the “Main Street Mysteries” series on the Investigation Discovery network. The episode is scheduled to air at 10 p.m. Friday, the 11th-year anniversary of the shooting in Dexter.

According to the Bangor Daily News, Treven’s mother, grandfather, grandmother and members of the Dexter Police Department all played a role in the show.

Jeffrey Cookson of Dover-Foxcroft is serving two life sentences for the murders. Gould had taken out a protection order against Cookson, her former boyfriend, a few days before the shootings.
