BANGOR – Marc Zaharchuk and Jay Uhrin combined for 45 points to lead the Husson men’s basketball team (5-1) to a 76-62 victory over the University of New England (2-7) in the Paul Bunyan Tournament final Sunday afternoon.

Josh Jones added 16 points and 11 rebounds for Husson. Marcus Winn scored 25 points for the Nor’easters. Chas Rentrope added 13.

RIVIER 56, COLBY 41: Nick Bean scored 15 of his 22 points in the first half as the Raiders (4-1) built a 35-22 halftime lead over the Mules (4-3) in the final of the Colby Invitational at Waterville.

Chelsea Sloat scored 12 points and Ariel DeLuc 11 for Southern Maine CC.

(2) BAYLOR 103, MINNESOTA 56: Brittney Griner scored 22 points, her sixth consecutive 20-point game, and the Bears (9-1) rolled the Golden Gophers (5-4) at Waco, Texas.

(4) XAVIER 69, CINCINNATI 64: Amber Harris had 20 points and 12 rebounds to lead the Musketeers (8-0) past the Bearcats (5-2) at Cincinnati.

(6) OHIO STATE 95, (11) OKLAHOMA 84: Jantel Lavender scored 32 points, Samantha Prahalis had 15 points and 15 assists and the host Buckeyes (7-0) beat the Sooners (7-1) in the Big Ten/Big 12 Challenge.

LOUISVILLE 78, (8) KENTUCKY 52: Freshman guard Shoni Schimmel scored 26 points, including six 3-pointers, and the Cardinals (6-3) rolled past the Wildcats (5-1) at Louisville, Ky.
