CORNISH — A 22-year-old man from Cornish is being held tonight at the York County Jail on burglary charges.

Deputies responded to the burglar alarm and observed Stevens walking in the vicinity of the business.
When Deputy Kevin Ledoux approached Stevens he threw objects from his pockets into the snow.

Ledoux detained Stevens, searched the area, and recovered approximately $1,200 worth of jewelry.

Stevens was charged with Class B Burglary. He is being held at the jail on $1,000 cash bail.
