AHL: The Buffalo Sabres recalled Portland Pirates defenseman Marc-Andre Gragnani back to the NHL Monday.
It’s the second call-up of the season for Gragnani, who has 12 goals and a team-high 48 assists to lead AHL defensemen in scoring. Earlier this season, Gragnani was scoreless in three games with the Sabres.
