WALES – Maybe they let Brandon Reilly drive the bus carrying the Lincoln Academy baseball team home Monday. Reilly did plenty of other work to lift the Eagles to a 4-3 win over Oak Hill (3-2).

Reilly struck out 21 Raiders while going the distance in a nine-inning game. He also had a two-RBI single in the second inning that gave Lincoln (5-0) a 3-0 lead.

Lincoln’s Merritt Wotton scored the go-ahead run in the top of the ninth on a sacrifice fly by Dalton Leeman. Wotton reached base on a single before stealing second, and reaching third on a sacrifice fly by Jeff Lamb.

Reilly took it from there as he struck out the side in the bottom of the frame to end the game. He allowed three runs on two hits and four walks to earn the win.

Cam Morin tied the game in the third for Oak Hill with an RBI single.

FALMOUTH 9, GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 2: Ryan MacDonald went 4 for 4 with two RBI and two runs scored to lead Falmouth (2-1) over Gray-New Gloucester (2-3) at Gray.

Winning pitcher Dillon Dresser gave up five hits, struck out six and walked none.

MARSHWOOD 4, WINDHAM 1: The Hawks, led by Luke Fernandes with three singles, took advantage of a wild pitch and three errors to defeat the Eagles (1-3) at Windham.

Ben Claus pitched a three-hitter with four strikeouts and four walks.

Nick Burton had a triple for the Eagles.

GARDINER 15, MEDOMAK VALLEY 2: Mike Phelps went 3 for 3 with a double, a home run, seven RBI and three runs scored to lead the Tigers (4-1) as they downed the Panthers (2-3) in five innings at Waldoboro.

Spencer Allen and Ian Lane also hit home runs for Gardiner.

TRAIP ACADEMY 17, SACOPEE VALLEY 0: Cole Kuehl had two doubles and three RBI to pace Traip Academy (4-1) in a five-inning win over Sacopee Valley (0-4) at Kittery.

The Rangers scored all 17 runs in the first two innings. Christian Montembeau provided a two-run homer in the second inning as the centerpiece of a 10-run inning.

WELLS 7, LAKE REGION 6: Cole Boston and Joey Spinelli drove in two runs apiece for the Warriors (4-1) as they held off the Lakers (1-3) at Wells.

Kevin Woods added a pair of hits and an RBI for Wells, which led 7-4 after three innings.

The Lakers were paced by Adam Shane’s three hits, including a pair of doubles.

YARMOUTH 13, POLAND 3: Aidan Sullivan pitched six strong innings, allowing three runs on four hits while fanning six for the Clippers (4-0) in their win at home over the Knights (1-5).

Sullivan drove in two runs with a single and a triple, while teammate Dustin McCrossin had two doubles to drive in two runs.

FREEPORT 9, FRYEBURG ACADEMY 5: Nick Cartmell hit a two-run single during a four-run second inning and added a sacrifice fly in the bottom of the fifth to lead the Falcons (1-4) past the Raiders (1-4) at Freeport.

Kaleb Farmer added RBI singles in the first and second inning for Freeport, which led 6-0 after two innings.

MONMOUTH ACADEMY 12, GEORGES VALLEY 10: Jeremey Ashlock pitched a complete game for Monmouth (4-0) in a win over Georges Valley (1-2) at Thomaston.

Ashlock gave up 10 runs on nine hits, though just one run was earned.

Roger Bachelder contributed a two-run homer in the first inning and D.J. McHugh belted a two-run single during a six-run fourth inning.

WESTBROOK 4, GORHAM 0: Sean Murphy pitched a complete-game shutout, fanning four for the Blue Blazes (5-0) to earn the win over the Rams (1-4) in Gorham.

Westbrook took advantage of three Gorham errors in the top of the seventh to drive in four runs and win the game.

Brothers Zach and Jake Gardiner each had RBI singles in the frame while teammate Trevor Bates drove in another run on a sacrifice fly.

THORNTON ACADEMY 4, SANFORD 3: Steve Harmon struck out one and walked one while closing out the game with three hitless innings of relief to earn the win for the Trojans (2-2) as they edged Sanford (0-3) in eight innings at Saco.

Sam Canales led off the bottom of the eighth inning with a walk for Thornton. Canales was pinch run for by Tyler Morton, who scored the winning run on a passed ball.

Thornton jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the bottom of the second with a trio of wins that was keyed by an RBI triple from Matt Turnage. Sanford tied the game on a two-run double by Sean Smith in the second inning and Cody Mooney’s solo homer in the fifth.

WISCASSET 11, WINTHROP 6: Ryan Segouia hit a grand slam in the bottom of the sixth inning as Wiscasset (3-2) pulled away late for a Mountain Valley Conference home victory.

Tyler Reeve went 3 for 4 with three RBIs for Winthrop (1-1), which trailed only 7-6 before the grand slam. Reeve hit a two-run home run during the fourth inning.

LACROSSE

SOUTH PORTLAND 9, WESTBROOK 2: Brian Cleary scored four goals and one assist as the Red Riots (3-3) cruised to a 6-0 lead to beat the Blue Blazes (3-3) at South Portland.

Mike Salvatore helped with a hat trick. Westbrook, led by Kevin Le’Heureuz with 21 saves, outscored the Red Riots 2-1 in the fourth quarter.

YORK 15, FRYEBURG ACADEMY 2: Garrett Naimie collected four goals and two assists to lead the Wildcats (3-1) as they cruised to a win over the Raiders (0-4) at York.

Dillon DellaPasqua and Kyle Robinson added three goals and two assists apiece for York.

Both Fryeburg goals were scored by Jake Schrader.

LINCOLN 6, MARANACOOK/WINTHROP 5: Sam Stone scored a hat trick to lead the Eagles to the win in Newcastle. Ryan Wahle added two goals for Lincoln. Martin Shott made 15 saves.

CAPE ELIZABETH 13, YARMOUTH 2: Teddy Smith scored five goals and made one assist to lead the Capers (3-1) in a rout of Yarmouth (3-1) at Cape Elizabeth. Tim Lavallee chipped in with two goals and five assists to buoy the Capers offense.

Cape goalie Jack Roos held the Clippers to two goals and finished with 12 saves.
