POLAND – York scored five times in the second half and pulled away to a 6-0 victory Wednesday night in a Western Maine Conference boys’ soccer game.

Theodore Bullock converted an assist from Liam Langaas with 5:23 left in the first half to give the Wildcats (7-1-1) a 1-0 lead. James McCafferty had two goals and Kyle Robinson, Thomas Rasche and Ryan Lusty each scored one.

Dillon Douglas stopped 15 shots for the Knights (2-6).

GREELY 3, GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 0: Will McAdoo had a goal and an assist to lead the Rangers (4-5-1) over the Patriots (4-5-1) at Gray.

McAdoo scored an unassisted goal and set up Ted Hart. Paul Witte converted a penalty kick for the final goal.

Elijah Leverett stopped six shots for Greely. Spencer Harriman made five saves for the Patriots.

FALMOUTH 1, FRYEBURG ACADEMY 0: J.P. White scored 15 minutes into the second half and the visiting Yachtsmen (5-1-1) edged the Raiders (4-5).

Will D’Agostino made three saves for the win. Paul Dostie also had three for Fryeburg.

CAPE ELIZABETH 7, LAKE REGION 0: Justin Cary had two goals to lead Cape Elizabeth (5-2-1) to a victory over the Lakers (0-8) at Naples.

Dakota Bush had 20 saves for Lake Region.

SACOPEE VALLEY 0, WAYNFLETE 0: Waynflete goalie Zander Majercik and Sacopee Valley’s Mitchell Barton each recorded a shutout as the Flyers (5-0-3) and Hawks (7-0-2) tied at South Hiram.

NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY 12, WELLS 2: Ryan Russo had five goals and Cailean Lane scored twice to lead the Panthers (4-3-2) to a rout of the Warriors (0-6) at Yarmouth.

Austin Kidder made six saves to record the shutout.

Brandon Morton and Sam Lapointe each scored for Wells.
