Assistance available to help communities plan growth
Smart Growth America is accepting applications for free technical assistance to communities to develop local growth strategies that benefit families and businesses while protecting the environment and preserving a sense of place.
Organizations or communities may apply for one of 12 workshops, such as parking and transit, regional planning, zoning and land use.
To learn more about the program and application process, a one-hour webinar has been scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday. The webinar is free but registration is required at tinyurl.com/4x3tfpb.
