PORTLAND — Commuters could face a major traffic headache at High and Congress streets this evening while utility crews work to repair a gas line.
Traffic on High Street, a busy commuter thoroughfare, will be down to one lane through this evening, city officials said. Motorists are encouraged to seek alternate routes. Those who do travel through the area should keep alert for bicyclists and pedestrians, officials said.
