HAMPTON, N.H. — Maine’s law enforcement officials are paying their respects to the New Hampshire police chief who was shot to death in a drug raid.
Col. Robert Williams, Maine’s state police chief, and his three top officers are participating in today’s wake for Greenland Chief Michael Maloney.
Even more law enforcement officers are participating in Thursday’s funeral. Dozens of Maine law enforcement officers will gather Thursday morning in Scarborough before traveling to New Hampshire.
Maloney died last week when he and other officers were trying to serve a warrant at a Greenland home. Four other officers were injured.
