Pulitzer Prize-winning Maine author Richard Russo will speak about his new book “Interventions” at the Portland Public Library this week.
Russo teamed up with his daughter, artist Kate Russo, to present this tribute to the printed book. It’s four individually bound volumes gathered in a slip case, and combines the previously unpublished novella “Intervention” with three shorter works.
The talk is part of the library’s Brown Bag Lecture series, so people are welcome to bring lunch.
WHEN: Noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday
WHERE: Portland Public Library, 5 Monument Square
HOW MUCH: Free
