FREEPORT – Olivia Bubar and Sydney Ambrose scored two goals apiece Saturday to lead Freeport to a 5-0 victory against Old Orchard Beach in a Western Maine Conference field hockey game.

Dayze Gaulin added a goal from Bubar for the Falcons (3-1).

Colleen Dyer had 16 saves for Old Orchard (0-4).

MT. ARARAT 1, BRUNSWICK 0: Charlotte Crosby scored as the Eagles (2-2) beat the Dragons (0-3) at Brunswick.

Micaela Mitchell assisted on the goal, 2:57 into the second half.

Syndey Escoe had 16 saves for Brunswick.

NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY 3, GREELY 0: Olivia Madore came down the right side on a breakaway and pushed the ball past the goalie to break a scoreless tie with 14 minutes left as the Panthers (2-0) beat Greely (0-4) at Yarmouth.

Madore then set up goals by Julianna Tardiff and Marina Poole in the closing minutes.

Elizabeth Coughlin had nine saves for NYA. Michelle Gray finished with six saves for the Rangers.

BELFAST 2, WINSLOW 1: Lexi Nelligan and Maddy Cummings scored off penalty corners to give Belfast (4-0) a 2-0 halftime lead against the Black Raiders (3-1) at Winslow.

Logan Blood assisted on Nelligan’s goal. Julia Ward made 10 saves for the Lions.

Jennifer Poulin scored and Alexis LaChance made 12 saves for Winslow.

SKOWHEGAN 4, MESSALONSKEE 0: Makaela Michonski scored four goals for the second time this season as the Indians (4-0) rolled past the Eagles (3-1) at Oakland.

Michonski made it 1-0 just 2:30 into the game, then drilled in a turnaround shot with 7:05 left in the half for a 2-0 lead.

Messalonskee had several scoring chances of its own, but Skowhegan back Erica Blake made a save on a shot by Emily York, and goalie Anne-Marie Provencal cut off the angles well and finished with six saves.

“I thought Anne-Marie played great,” Skowhegan Coach Paula Doughty said. “To me, she is coming into her own this year.”

Provencal got some more help from her defense in the second half, as Sarah Finnemore and Mikayla Bolduc each cleared the ball away from trouble.

FRYEBURG ACADEMY 5, WELLS 0: Christina DiPietro scored three goals to lead the Raiders (4-0) past the Warriors (1-3) at Fryeburg.

Skye Dole added a pair of goals. Makayla Frost had two assists.

Wells goalie Randi Albano made 17 saves.

MT. VIEW 6, LINCOLN ACADEMY 0: Andrea Smith and Larissa Hannan each scored twice as the Mustangs (2-2) beat the Eagles (0-3) at Newcastle.

SANFORD 8, BONNY EAGLE 1: Hannah Kallis scored four goals to lead the Spartans (2-0) past the Scots (0-3) at Standish in a game that was shortened by nine minutes because of lightning.

Lauren Legere and Taylor Littlefield each added two goals for Sanford. Marley Harmon scored for Bonny Eagle.

FREEPORT 3, LAKE REGION 0: Three players scored as the Falcons (1-1) shut out the Lakers (1-1) at Freeport.

After Julia Smith gave Freeport a 1-0 halftime lead, Alyssa Richardson and Jocelyn Davee added second-half goals.

Sarah Hancock made 13 saves for Lake Region.

WELLS 1, SACOPEE VALLEY 1: Brooke Totman converted a penalty kick for the Hawks (1-1-1) with five seconds left in the first half, but Stephanie Woods scored off a scramble in the second half to pull Wells (0-1-1) even at South Hiram.

Emily Colbert made nine saves for Sacopee Valley. Kaitlyn Tufts had eight for Wells.

FALMOUTH 2, POLAND 0: Caitlin Bucksbaum and Taylor Russell scored to lift the Yachtsmen (2-0) over the Knights (1-1) at Falmouth.

Bucksbaum and Cassie Darrow added assists.

Haley Whitworth had 23 saves for Poland.

YARMOUTH 3, BUCKSPORT 1: Kristina Borderia had 12 kills as Yarmouth (3-0) downed the Golden Bucks (2-1) at Bucksport.

Gina Robertson added four aces for the Clippers.

YARMOUTH 3, JONESPORT-BEALS 2: Kate Myers had eight kills as Yarmouth (4-0) defeated the Royals (2-1) at Bucksport.

CAPE ELIZABETH 2, YARMOUTH 0: Kathryn Clark scored three minutes before halftime, then with nine minutes left for the Capers (2-1) against Yarmouth (1-2) at Cape Elizabeth.

MORSE 5, WINSLOW 2: Brianna Williams had three goals and an assist, and Miracle Trimble added two goals and an assist to lead the Shipbuilders (1-1-1) past the Black Raiders (2-1) at Bath.
