CONCORD, N.H. — A jury has convicted a longtime youth baseball and hockey coach from New Hampshire of sexually assaulting two boys and videotaping some of the abuse.

Robert Joubert of Manchester was found guilty Friday of sexual exploitation of a child and possessing child pornography. Court documents say the victims were under the age of 13 at the time of the abuse.

U.S. Attorney John Kacavas said the 60-year-old Joubert ran the Seacoast Baseball Academy in York, Maine, where the investigation began in March 2012. Police found numerous young men who said Joubert abused them.

Kacavas says a search of his property uncovered photos and videos, including one of Joubert molesting a boy.

His lawyer, public defender Bjorn Lange, declined comment.

Joubert’s due to be sentenced Feb. 18.
