ST. JOHNSBURY, Vt. — A Vermont woman and her boyfriend are facing charges they forced the woman’s 12-year-old son to smoke marijuana at their Groton home.

Thirty-three-year-old Bobbi Borek and her 29-year-old boyfriend Robert Spink both pleaded not guilty Monday to a felony charge of drug delivery to a minor and a misdemeanor charge of contributing to the delinquency of a minor under the age of 16.

They were released on conditions after appearing in Caledonia Superior Court in St. Johnsbury.

The Caledonian Record reports the boy told police he also smoked cigarettes and chewed tobacco with Borek and Spink multiple times at Borek’s residence in Groton.

The boy told police he initially refused when Borek offered him a marijuana cigarette in December 2012.

A phone listing for Spink in Groton was disconnected.
