Read as spoken by Thurston Howell III:

Lovey! I say, Lovey! Did you hear?! The natives are agitating for decent employment again! They want to bring in big boats to export wood bits of some sort. Do they have no idea what this will do to the yachting?

My god, the ambiance, the ambiance will be destroyed! Oh why won’t they just settle for the low-paying seasonal tourism jobs we keep telling them are so wonderful? Why don’t they just go out and grow something? Why can’t they just whip up some nice summer shandy? This is Maine after all, think of the summer people!

Get Friends of Penobscot Bay, the Sierra Club and their State House followers to finish this vile endeavor in the same manner the LNG terminal, Aroostook mining and South Portland heavy crude were thrown over the transom! Imagine what it will do to our view! Call the EPA, this must be stopped. Think of the en-n-n-vi-i-i-ronment!

Lovey! Get Audubon and the NRCM on the horn! Tell them to bring their Democra … tell them to bring their legislators and crush this vile initiative! Why before you know it hundreds could be engaged in industry! Industry! The horrors. They need to move beyond their old notions of decent employment in an expanding market and accept their lot in Maine’s current character.

Very quaint indeed. Let them eat the scenery.
