Gardiner police are asking for the public’s help in finding a teenage boy who was last seen by his parents Saturday night.
Police said local police have been notified that 14-year-old Michael J. Booth, a freshman at Gardiner High School, left his home on Winter Street around 9 p.m. Saturday. Family members said Booth was wearing blue jeans, black sneakers and a gray thermal shirt.

“No one has seen or heard from him since then,” said the boy’s grandmother, Margaret Shannon of Clinton.
Gardiner police met with the high school’s freshman class Monday morning but none of Booth’s classmates said they knew his whereabouts.
