Democratic Rep. Mike Michaud may not be the flashiest guy on the stage, but he’s the only candidate for governor with the experience and vision to tackle Maine’s challenges.

Unlike the other candidates, Rep. Michaud has spent his career working to improve the lives and livelihoods of Maine people.

To illustrate the tangible benefits Mike Michaud has already brought to Maine, here are just a few of his accomplishments:

As Maine Senate president, Mike ushered through policies essential for working people and business, such as the unanimously supported two-tiered minimum-wage increase.

In Congress, he helped keep Portsmouth Naval Shipyard open; this summer, he negotiated bipartisan Veterans Affairs Department reform. And for nearly three decades, he’s worked to clean up Maine’s water and air.

As our next governor, Mike Michaud will use this solid experience along with a tireless work ethic, good sense and proven leadership abilities to lead Maine forward.
