A Cornville man stopped for allegedly speeding on Interstate 295 in Falmouth faces drug charges after police found what they believe are heroin and drug paraphernalia in the car.
Gregory Strout, 28, was stopped Monday by Maine State Police Trooper Doug Cropper, who found five baggies containing suspected heroin, a small amount of marijuana, a Suboxone strip, a methadone pill, 82 hypodermic needles and other drug paraphernalia, police said.
Strout is free on bail pending a court hearing.
