I have several questions that I wish someone in the media would answer in a straightforward fashion:

Re: the lawsuit about the Affordable Care Act that is now under consideration by the Supreme Court: Please, someone, explain why this is not a frivolous lawsuit. I just do not understand.

I could understand if people were not getting the subsidies in the states that did not take on setting up insurance marketplaces, but even in states using the federal exchange, people are getting the subsidies.

So how is this harming anyone either way? Do those suing not want the subsidies, or do they just not want anyone else to get them?

Please, someone in the know, make sense of this to the average person, because to this “average Joe,” it makes no sense whatsoever!

Re: Gov. LePage holding up the bond funds that were approved by the voters of Maine: Is this legal? Does the governor have the right to override the voters of Maine? What can we do to stop this absurdity? Again, would someone knowledgeable please inform the people of the great state of Maine?

Re: Bill Nemitz: We sure do miss his column. I want him to know we are thinking of him and wishing him well. Please update us on how he is doing.
