Biddeford police are seeking the public’s help to locate a 64-year-old man reported missing by his family.
Craig Tufts, 64, walked away from Biddeford Estates, a residential housing complex at 2 Dartmouth St. for older people and those with disabilities, at 5:30 a.m. on Sunday and has not been heard from since.
Tufts has mental health issues, and previously had wandered into wooded areas for extended periods of time. He is not considered violent and usually is fairly alert, according to police.
Tufts is described as white, weighing about 130 pounds, with white hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a grey sweatshirt with distinct white piping along the zipper, a dark T-shirt and blue jeans.
Anyone with any information on him is asked to contact the Biddeford Police Department at 282-5127.
