A Portland man has pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court to conspiring to distribute 28 grams or more of crack cocaine.

Marco Gordon, 34, of Portland and Detroit, Michigan, entered the plea Tuesday, said U.S. Attorney Thomas E. Delahanty II in a press release.

Court records indicate that Gordon conspired with others to distribute crack cocaine from December 2013 to January 2015. The distribution ring acquired the cocaine out of state and transported it across state lines to retail distributors such as Gordon.

Gordon sold the crack cocaine in the Portland area. He was arrested on Jan. 9 on Gilman Street in Portland. Officers seized 183.6 gram of crack cocaine and more than $3,400 in cash.

Gordon faces five to 40 years in prison. He will be sentenced after a pre-sentence investigation by the U.S. Probation Office.
