“Suits” don’t ride buses.

Why is that?

Don’t they know that public transportation is being touted as a vital first step toward the conservation of energy and reduction of pollution?

Do they discuss these issues in their conference rooms?

Do they apply for energy-conserving grants to provide salaries for their firms?

Do they study graphs, statistics, polls?

Do they petition the Portland City Council with energy-saving schemes?

I don’t know.

I do know that I don’t see them on the bus.
