Maine Adaptive Sports and Recreation is enjoying another summer of golf at Toddy Brook Golf Course in North Yarmouth. The program began there about 10 years ago, and Toddy Brook has graciously continued it again this summer.
If you are there on a Monday morning and see a crowd of golf carts with handicapped flags in the parking lot or on the course, you are seeing a number of people with disabilities experiencing possibly their only golf adventure. There are volunteer teachers with them, giving tips and assisting in movement around the course.
Maine Adaptive Sports and Recreation has a number of summer and winter programs, as well as affiliation with Veterans/No Boundaries. If you are playing at Toddy Brook, please help us thank them by mentioning us.
