A crash on Interstate 295 northbound is slowing Friday evening commuter traffic.

A state police dispatcher said the crash occurred around 5 p.m. at Exit 9 in Falmouth.

He said traffic was tied up, but wreckers arrived around 6 p.m. to clear cars from the scene, and traffic was beginning to flow better by 6:30 p.m.

The dispatcher said he didn’t think anyone was hurt in the collision, but had no further details.
