BETHLEHEM, Pa. — Police say a school district driver in Pennsylvania has been cited for texting while driving a bus.

Fifty-four-year-old Anne McGouldrick was given a traffic citation for texting while driving a commercial vehicle on Thursday.

Bethlehem police say they were told by the Bethlehem Area School District about the Easton woman’s texting. Investigators say a student on the bus used a cellphone to record her.

She’s suspended without pay and officials say further disciplinary action may be taken.

It’s unclear if she has an attorney who could comment on the charges.
