Defenseman Cameron Gaunce will join teammate Rob Schremp on the Atlantic Division All-Star Team Sunday and Monday in Syracuse, New York.
Gaunce was one of eight additions to the All-Star rosters because of injuries and NHL call-ups. He has a goal and 19 assists in Portland’s first 40 games.
Schremp, who also played in the 2008 AHL All-Star Game, leads the team with 16 goals and 16 assists. Both will take part in skills competitions Sunday and a round-robin tournament Monday featuring divisional teams playing shortened games of 4-on-4 and 3-on-3.
