Re: “LePage vows to rebuild road across Quimby land, escalating fight over national park” (Feb. 12):
I’m surprised that Gov. LePage does not think that a 1 percenter, Roxanne Quimby, should be allowed to do with her land as she wants.
I’m also surprised by his outrage that President Obama is considering using his authority to accept this land for the American people without putting it before Congress, whereas LePage has no qualms about bypassing the Legislature when it suits him.
