Does it seem scary to anyone else that the Portland City Council is restricting travel and closing the city’s intellectual borders by denying standard travel reimbursements for members if they travel to destinations that are not politically aligned with the council? Ha! The eradication of opposing values and ideals imposed through travel restrictions.
The council has torn a page right out of history, as this is a well-known totalitarian tactic employed by Adolf Hitler, Josef Stalin and Kim Jong Il of North Korea. Closing intellectual borders is a bad move.
Kool-Aid, anyone?
