Wall Street billionaire and former mayor of New York City Michael Bloomberg is once again pouring millions of dollars into Maine to influence us and change our culture.

In 2012, Bloomberg was the major contributor to the Senate campaign of Angus King. Today, Bloomberg is behind a $3 million campaign to restrict the gun rights of law-abiding Maine citizens.

In 2015, Maine had 15 gun homicides, and half of those were the result of family disagreements. Hardly a murder spree.

Bloomberg wants us to go through a torturous and expensive process if we lend or give a gun to someone. Penalties for noncompliance include fines of up to $2,000 and one year in jail.

On Nov. 8, tell Michael Bloomberg we don’t want his New York values here in Maine. Vote “no” on ballot Question 3.
