Please honor our veterans on Friday. It is my fervent hope and prayer that our new president will put a halt to our nation building and stop meddling in other countries’ sovereignty and overthrowing rulers, as we have over 300 military bases in countries all over the world. It’s time to pull back and prioritize our strategies.
When we expend too much treasure on misguided endeavors, prompted by war lovers who sit back and pull the strings, it’s time for a radical change!
I end with a quote, and the title of a book, by Marine Maj. Gen. Smedley Butler, two-time Medal of Honor winner: “War is a Racket.”
