Christmas trees ready to sell

The Old Farm Christmas Place, at 1148 Sawyer Road, Cape Elizabeth, is celebrating its first year selling Christmas trees. Owner Jay Cox began cultivating the balsam fir trees in 2004. Some 1,000 trees, ranging from 6 to 9 feet in height, are being sold, as are custom wreaths, garland and ornaments, with local delivery and shipping services available for all goods through December. Resale shop for children

Dahlia's World, offering new and gently used children's apparel, gear and toys, recently celebrated its grand opening at 721 Main St., South Portland, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

Publishing companies move

Maine Authors Publishing and its parent company, Custom Museum Publishing, have moved to 558 Main St., Rockland.
