An excerpt from the accompanying caption:

“Sunny, unseasonably mild weather and substantial snow cover proved an irresistible combination for ski enthusiasts throughout Maine Sunday and they thronged to the slopes by the thousands. These young fans await their turn at the tow at West Falmouth's Hurricane Ski Slope.”
