The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services this week released new numbers of how many people have signed up for health insurance through the Affordable Care Act’s health insurance marketplace. The ACA’s open enrollment period is winding down, and the uninsured have until March 31 to sign up for insurance. The Obama administration has been targeting young adults to sign up, as the younger, healthier population will help keep the overall cost of insurance under control. This graphic shows how each state is doing in enrollment through Feb. 28 compared to the total population and in the 18-34 age group.
