TAMPA, Fla. — Black Friday shoppers are already waiting in line in Tampa.
Rick Hilton arrived Friday night at the same Best Buy store he has shopped at since he was in ninth grade. Now, the 21-year-old is looking for deals on a computer and flat-screen television for his grandmother.
The Tampa Tribune reports Hilton and two other shoppers were already in line in anticipation for the long lines on the day after Thanksgiving. By Saturday afternoon, two more shoppers claimed a spot.
Hilton and some other shoppers reunite once a year for this event, pitching tents to sleep in at night and playing football in the parking lot when the store closes.
Tina Jones set up camp early Saturday morning as she waited for her family to show up.
