PORTLAND — Louis Luchini of Ellsworth and Kristin Barry of Scarborough – both former winners – took home the overall titles at the 10th annual Sea Dogs Mother's Day 5K Road Race in Portland this morning.

Luchini, who set a course record in 2007, was nearly half a minute off that pace today but still won comfortably in 14 minutes, 56 seconds. Curtis Wheeler of Buxton, the 2009 champion, was second in 15:03.
Barry, a three-time champ, lowered her race record by 22 seconds to 17:04. Sheri Piers of Falmouth retains the course record of 16:59. Gabrielle Cyr of Buxton was the second female finisher, in 18:48.
