Morning commuters should expect slow going on Tuesday with public safety officials reporting road closures in several towns.
FALMOUTH
The section of Route 88 located south of Depot Road and north of Thornhurst Road is closed due to electrical wires in the road.
Mountain and Blackstrap roads are also closed due to downed electrical lines.
WESTBROOK
Methodist Road is closed between the 200 and 400 block due to downed trees and wires.
SCARBOROUGH
Mitchell Hill Road is closed from the Gorham town line to Fengler Road.
YARMOUTH
Prince Point Road is closed.
Ledge Road near the intersection with Mountford Road is closed.
Bayview Road near the intersection with Woodland Road is closed.
FREEPORT
Parts of Lower Flying Point Road near Burnett Road and Shannon’s Way are closed because of downed wires.
BUXTON
Emergency workers report four roads closed: Town Farm Road, Flaggy Meadow Road, Simpson Road and Long Plains Road near Bonney Eagle Middle School.
YORK
Police report several roads closed: Ogunquit Road at Josiah Norton Road, Mountain Road at 347 Mountain Road, Mill Ridge Farm Lane, Cabot Cove, Godfrey Cove Road, River Road, Moody Lane and Bay Haven Road.
BERWICK
Emergency dispatchers report trees down on wires but no major flooding. Roads closed include Sullivan Road near Pine Hill Road and Pine Hill Road at Ridlon Road. Little River Road has been closed but should be open later this morning.
