WILTON — A Maine woman died and two people have been injured in a head-on crash on Route 2 in Wilton.
Police say 61-year-old Claudette Hutchins died Friday afternoon while being taken by ambulance to the Farmington hospital.
The accident was reported at 2:45 Friday afternoon.
The driver of the other vehicle, 79-year-old Richard Harvey was flown to Center Maine Medical Center by helicopter. The single passengers in each vehicle were taken to the hospital for treatment.
Police are investigating what caused the crash.
