Fatal Somerville fire rekindles

SOMERVILLE — A fire that killed a homeowner here Thursday has rekindled this morning.

Firefighters were called back to the scene on Crummett Mountain Road where authorities said the body of Cecil Brann, 92, was found late Thursday night in the kitchen area of his home. The blaze destroyed the wooden farmhouse.

Firefighters have been hampered in their efforts by the frigid temperatures which are freezing the water they’re trying to use.
