PORTLAND — A water main break that closed down Bell Street off Forest Avenue in Portland this morning has been repaired and traffic has returned to normal.
The call came in from 4:30 a.m. from Portland Police who reported the break, said Michelle Clements, water district spokeswoman.
It was the seventh water main break in the district since Feb. 13. Five of the breaks have been in Portland.
